To clean the Premium Acupressure Mat, remove the Blissfoam™ and hand-wash the cotton cover in warm soapy water, using a soft brush to clean the spikes. Rinse and hang to dry in the shade. Once dry, re-insert the Blissfoam™, ready for your next Shakti practice.
Store out of the sun, as UV rays can cause the color to fade. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

Blissfoam™ is our latest, plant-based, natural foam fill made with GOLS-certified organic latex.

A little, but only in the beginning.
Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough – or you’re beyond relaxed already – you won’t feel much.
After a few minutes, the tingling sensation fades into a deep, relaxing warmth. The redness is purely a circulation boost. You might even fall asleep.

Level 1 is the perfect place to start. Expect a gentle balance of initial sensation and deep release. Ideal for anyone new to acupressure.
Level 2 is for the bold. Fewer spikes means more initial discomfort, so commit to pushing through to unlock a deeper release.
Level 3 is for the brave. Expect serious sensation upfront, with plenty of reward if you can handle it.

Our Premium Mats are made by hand in India - home of the bed of nails, with our partner Kishor Exports – a renowned manufacturer based in Ranchi and Agra.
Founded in 1978, Kishor Exports are Fairtrade certified, past winners of the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practice award at the World CSR Congress, and carry almost every certification you could imagine.
